PRESS RELEASE

The students of the Department DIKE – Unitus launch 3 experimental projects to enhance the territory - outdoor, discover the heritage, slow tourism.

On Monday, December 16, at 11:00, at the Aula Radulet of the Monumental Complex of Santa Maria in Gradi di Viterbo, more than 50 Italian and foreign students will present 3 digital communication projects on the promotion and valorization of the Viterbo territory in the world.

The event comes at the end of the academic quarter of the Department of Digital Cultures and Social Media.

"During the university course and specifically the Digital Cultures and Social Media course, the students developed three projects using cross-cutting skills and with a multidisciplinary approach, realizing three projects that can easily become startups. The initiative aims to transform the acquired knowledge into practical activities that make good the idea of what are the current challenges of digital communication professionals" - Professor Zizza, holder of the Chair.

During the design phase, the third-year students worked on more than 10 digital platforms, analyzing target audiences and building budget plans on marketing models integrated into tourism, sports and culture.

The objective is the rediscovery of the hidden places of the province of Viterbo and the development of strategic plans for individual sites or districts.

The event will be attended by the administrators of the affected areas, stakeholders and journalists.  The greetings will be from the Magnificent Rector Stefano Ubertini.
